Another Chinese restaurant in Macau designed by Alan Chan, whose other impressive creations in the SAR include Robuchon au Dome and The 8, Palace Garden is inspired by opulent imperial gardens of yore. Its design, decor and art celebrate the magnificent Chinoiserie style that blossomed as trade between Europe and China exploded during the 18th century. In the kitchen, chef de cuisine Ken Chong transforms precious Cantonese ingredients into modern epicurean wonders plus, more approachably, he also makes delectable dim sum. An eight-course prestige menu allows diners to sample all the signature delicacies. The restaurant's bar, named after historic 8th-century poet Li Bai, provides a fresh element to fine Chinese dining by way of an aperitif concept.
