Though Hong Kong is host to a good number of bars that aim to reproduce the classic Japanese cocktail bar experience, none have it down like Mizunara. The menu is broad but each cocktail is a polished creation and the service impeccable. As ever, the extensive whisky collection is among the best in town. It hasn't all been business as usual the past 12 months. A major revolution saw founding bartender-in-chief Masahiko Endo promoted to the role of group beverage director, leaving Mizunara in the capable hands of his deputy, Massimo Petovello. Endo's high standards have been maintained, and excitement surrounds what new direction Petovello will take Mizunara moving forward.
