The only two-Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant in the city, Mizumi at Wynn Macau serves not only a sumptuous feast for the stomach, but also for the eyes. The restaurant is beautifully decorated to resemble a beguiling blend of a Japanese palace and a traditional shrine. It's a beautiful evocation of Kyoto from its heyday before the capital of Japan moved to Edo/Tokyo. With dedicated sushi and teppanyaki areas, as well as an a la carte dining room, Mizumi offers all the hits of Japanese cuisine under one roof. Its abalone tempura is part of the must-try repertoire. The collection of high-quality sakes is also noteworthy, with a list of more than 40 varieties, including daiginjo, ginjo and honjozo styles.
