The first Chinese restaurant in the world to be recognised with three Michelin stars, Lung King Heen is a special place. Despite the high standards of the restaurant, the venue is the
opposite of a stuffy fine dining establishment. Lung King Heen is notable for welcoming families with children as young as three – though even the kids' menu is sophisticated and includes the likes of braised bird's nest soup, and a sauteed fillet of grouper with sweetcorn. Elsewhere, the seasonal menu is thoughtful and considered, and the dim sum always superb. Soups and seafood are other stand-outs. For special occasions, consider the Taste of Traditional Canton set, executive Chinese chef Chan Yan-tak's take on classic Cantonese dishes made for banquets, which comes with on-the-mark wine pairings.
