Probably more than any other hotel group, St. Regis emphasises its bar offerings. The brand proudly notes that since its 1904 opening, the St. Regis New York has served as a social epicentre for discerning guests in Manhattan, courtesy of the legendary King Cole Bar. It’s unsurprising, then, that standards at the Hong Kong outpost rank among the city’s best – a fact made especially apparent by its showstopping cocktail menu inspired by the board game Ticket to Ride and Hong Kong’s iconic trams. The collection features 16 drinks, each referencing a famous landmark in either Hong Kong or New York. The Hudson Julep riffs on the classic mint julep with a split base of whiskey and cognac, delivering a refreshing, transporting sip. Meanwhile, the Belcher Point represents an East-meets-West fusion, combining gin, osmanthus oolong-infused vermouth and a house-made fennel cordial.
