Conceived by the renowned Alan Chan Design Company, The Eight at the Grand Lisboa Hotel is a haven for both discerning palates and those who appreciate auspicious symbolism – Chan’s design prominently features the lucky number “8”, most notably in the restaurant’s central crystal ball fountain. Head chef Joseph Tse brings decades of mastery to the kitchen. The restaurant’s celebrated dim sum programme offers over 40 varieties, prepared with both traditional and contemporary techniques. Signatures include the iconic har gao shaped like a swimming goldfish, and hedgehog-shaped barbecued pork buns filled with preserved vegetables and black pork. The menu also showcases Cantonese barbecue, wok-fried and steamed dishes, alongside a wide selection of other classic preparations.
