
Terrible Baby, the expansive semi-rooftop bar at Eaton Hong Kong, has remained a fixture on Kowloon side’s shortlist of notable bars ever since the hotel’s culture-focused rebrand in 2018. This year’s menu revamp, led by bar manager Axel Gonzalez, adds a new level of polish. Drawing on Gonzalez’s experience of growing up in Argentina and living in Hong Kong – the menu delivers drinks like the Dong Ling Cha, an effervescent take on the local classic that swaps tea for cold brew-infused dark rum, finished with grapefruit and sparkling Vitasoy lemon tea. The DDL Old Fashioned is a can’t-miss: rye whisky fat-washed with caramelised dulce de leche, topped with a raspberry bonbon from local chocolatier Conspiracy Chocolate.
