Perched on the 26th floor of The Murray, Popinjays’ 520 sq m wraparound terrace offers breathtaking views of the Central and Mid-Levels skyline. The interior, a blend of playfulness and class, is bathed in natural light and adorned with colourful artwork. Under the guidance of executive chef Emiliano Bernasconi and chef de cuisine Paolo Tolleretti, the kitchen delivers authentic Italian flavours with a modern twist. Highlights include Hokkaido scallop with friggitelli, peperonata sauce, salsa verde and crispy leek, and the Filetto – Wagyu M5 tenderloin served with mashed potato, foie gras, morel mushrooms and black truffle. A strictly vegan menu exists to accommodate those with particular dietary requirements, while the weekend disco brunch is always a lively affair, with seafood and more than enough Italian delights to go around.
