Located in the heart of Central, the now two-Michelin-starred L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon is a bastion of culinary distinction – an establishment that blends avant-garde French fine dining with a surprisingly relaxed atmosphere. Overseen by executive chef Julien Tongourian, last year the restaurant underwent a significant renovation, transforming its 18,000 sq ft space. Not just the dining rooms were affected – the wine cellar is now four times its original size and home to more than 3,400 labels.
Further changes are planned for “phase two” of L’Atelier’s rejuvenation, with additional private dining rooms, a terrace, and a chef’s table experience promised. It all bodes well at this already excellent establishment.
