The Hong Kong branch of the global La Petite Maison (LPM) group proves that, contrary to common opinion, a chain restaurant (albeit a glamorous global one) can deliver one of the city’s most enjoyable French-driven Mediterranean experiences. Housed in H Queen’s, this outpost balances sophistication and ease: shuttered windows, warm neutrals and a lively bar create a chic but relaxed setting, with a menu that leans on market-driven seafood, grilled meats and clean, olive oil-based sauces. Fresh and seasonal signatures often include grilled fish of the day, lamb chops with aioli, duck leg confit and lobster in a Romesco-style sauce, all cooked simply yet confidently. The dessert list – featuring a notably rich cheesecake, crème brûlée, French toast and apple tart – is one of the most compelling reasons to finish a meal here.
