Few Hong Kong restaurants can rival Gaddi’s history, or its quality. A private lift to the entrance hints at the luxury within. The interior exudes old-world charm, with blue and gold carpeting, gilded accents and a grand chandelier contributing to the opulent atmosphere. Chef Anne-Sophie Nicolas was appointed chef de cuisine in September 2024, the first female to hold the post in Gaddi’s 70-year history. The “modern classic” menus are distinctly French. Expect classics like traditional beef tartare with gherkins, capers, quail egg and black truffle, alongside Hokkaido scallops millefeuille with carrots, shimeji mushrooms, spinach and a Saint-Hubert sauce.
