Since its 2018 debut, Draft Land has proven that cocktails on tap can be both convenient and – to the surprise of many – genuinely good. The Hong Kong outpost (the concept originated in Taiwan and was brought here by Antonio Lai) now operates branches in Central and Causeway Bay, where guests can sample pre‑batched drinks like they might craft beer – a low‑risk way for newcomers to explore the menu. The quality is consistent and there are even inventive flavour pairings. Stand-outs include the Guk Bou, blending chrysanthemum, pu’er tea and gin, and the Oolong Tea Collins, a crisp mix of oolong tea, vodka and citrus. By delivering reliably excellent, thoughtfully crafted cocktails, Draft Land remains a top fixture on the city’s drinking scene no matter what purists might say.
