
Blending tradition with a lively energy, Birdie delivers an authentic, boisterous yakitori experience that is one of the finest of its kind anywhere in town. The open kitchen is encircled by 18 counter seats where guests can watch the action happen. The man in charge is Nakao Sho, who began his culinary journey in 2010 at the renowned Fukuoka yakitori restaurant Yakitori Hachibee. Although Nakao is also skilled in preparing beef and pork, the focus here is on fresh chicken cuts, from thigh and wing to soft bone, neck, liver, heart and tsukune – all expertly grilled over binchotan charcoal.
