
The Macau outpost of 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana brings chef Umberto Bombana’s celebrated Italian fine-dining philosophy to Galaxy Macau. Executive chef Marino D’Antonio, a Bergamo native previously at Beijing’s Opera Bombana, oversees the kitchen with a light-touch approach that balances elegance and comfort. Menus spotlight local Italian traditions, from hand-rolled pastas to signatures drawn from across the peninsula. D’Antonio’s new lunch menu is a particular highlight. Refreshed bimonthly, it spotlights one Italian region at a time, alongside a curated selection of Bombana signatures and seasonal specials. The spacious 80-seat dining room and two private rooms are enriched by Gianluca Miniaci’s artworks evoking love, life and passion, creating a welcoming setting for long, indulgent meals.
