Lai Sun Dining has a diverse portfolio of more than 20 restaurants but Plaisance by Mauro Colagreco is unique among them. The sprawling, three-story, 10,000 sq ft concept is an ode to the ocean. The marine theme permeates every detail, from the tranquil turquoise hues to the subtle nautical touches, including a captivating school of fish suspended above the entrance. Of course, the menu showcases an impeccable selection of seasonal seafood worked into dishes like the Kurumaebi ravioli with lemon emulsion and the onagadai and carrot mousseline. It’s not all seafood, though. Should you visit with a guest who’s feeling more turf than surf, options like Pyrénées baby lamb and radicchio or Sendai Wagyu tenderloin with watercress and oyster are also available – and no less delicious.
