Sai Ying Pun’s best-kept secret no longer, Mostly Harmless has gone from strength to strength since opening, the first-floor concept having expanded into a ground-floor space that was previously occupied by Dam:a Noodle Bar. The brilliant neighbourhood joint plays to the strengths of the stellar mixologist at its helm, Ezra Star, formerly of Boston-based Drink. The setting is minimal, the menu lean and mean. Available cocktails change daily based on a particular seasonal ingredient (supplied and farmed locally) that is interpreted different ways, using fundamental flavours and techniques, to consistently memorable effect.
